Oracle Reports Compare

Load two versions of the same report — a Previous and a Current — as Oracle Reports .RDF files or XML (from rwconverter dtype=xmlfile). Click Compare to see exactly what changed: added, removed and modified queries, groups, columns, links, layout objects, triggers, program units, properties, SQL and PL/SQL — all client-side. Nothing is uploaded to any server.

Both inputs are parsed and compared entirely in your browser. Nothing leaves your machine.
The two sides can be different formats — an .rdf against rwconverter XML — since an .rdf is converted to the same XML on load. Layout children are matched by name, so their order in the file does not matter.
Objects are matched by type and name within their parent. A rename therefore shows as a removal plus an addition. Data links are named parent.column → query.column.
A folder is flagged modified when its own properties change or anything beneath it changes, so a single deep change is always reachable from the root.
Use Changes only to hide unchanged objects, and Ignore geometry to suppress pure X/Y/Width/Height moves.
Selecting an object shows a property-level diff and a line-level diff of its SQL, PL/SQL, boilerplate text or HTML escape.
